Fiji Beach Resort and Spa Managed by Hilton
Objective: To increase sales across all channels, for the Fiji Beach Resort & Spa managed by Hilton, through training and motivating targeted Travel Agents to promote Fiji Beach Resort and Spa, as the preferred resort in Denarau, Fiji, to their own Clients.
Activity: A combination of full and part-time sales professionals across 4 territories in 2 countries - Australia and New Zealand - worked in a tactical capacity over a 12-week period. More than 6,330 presentations were made during the 12-week tactical campaign. Due to the success of this activity the campaigns have taken place annually for the past 3 years.
Communication: Face to Face visits, utilising such tools as the promotional DVD, presenting rack brochures, fact sheets and flyers, plus detailing promotions & special offers, significantly increased the awareness of the newest, most luxurious Fijian Resort on Denarau.
Results: USM has managed and developed this program for Fiji Beach Resort and Spa since November 2006, when the tactical campaign was first implemented in Sydney, and by early 2007 rolled out to include Melbourne and New Zealand. Due to this success of the campaign the activity has been implemented each consecutive year, and the territories expanded to include Brisbane.
