Cunard
Objective: The Cunard Sales Team needed additional resource to maximise sales opportunities in the retail Travel Industry segment.
Activity: The USM team conducted regular sales call on retail travel agencies, training the agents, updating them on promotions and resolving agency queries. The team also co-hosted "Cruise nights" with the Cunrad sales teams, and assisted in organising affinity group promotions.
Communication: The USM sales team explained and delivered promotional flyers / leave behinds, displayed POS materal and solicited competitor information to feed back to Cunard management.
Results: The USM sales team ensured the key bookers were up to date on the Cunard products and promotions, leaving the Cunard direct sales team to negotiate at a more senior level within the sector.
